Hello Church Pastors, Youth Pastors/Leaders and Friends,

 

4Given Life - Music Ministries would like to present an opportunity to hold a Praise and Worship Ministry Event at your church. Many years ago, God gave me a glimpse of a vision in that I saw myself sharing my testimony of how the Lord rescued my life. God delivered me from drug addiction, trauma, and shame/condemnation. He brought me into a new life of serving Him and helping others. Today, I am blessed to say those doors have opened where I have been serving/leading in the church and in the field of “Faith Based Recovery” for over a decade now. With being a Youth Pastor myself and having the experience of living a life in addiction, where at one point I thought God could never use me, today, I have a testimony that brings both awareness and hope to these struggling times of drug induced overdose deaths that are invading all of our communities. Kids, teens and even adults of all ages can fall victim to this war with drugs. Now that marijuana is legal we are in more trouble than ever because if you ask any addict who became addicted to narcotics, over 90% of them would say they tried marijuana first. 

 

​Any addiction can be classified as a symptom. People must identify the root cause, find the False Belief, develop healthy coping skills but most importantly, “Become “Very Good” Again.” Because of being a Recovery Coach, I have learned much which includes some scientific knowledge of brain functions. In Romans Chapter 7, Paul even states that he did not understand his own actions. He knows what is right and wants to do it but ends up doing what he hates. Sound familiar? Not everyone has a "Drug Addiction." However, God tells us that anything we place before Him becomes an idol and if done in repetition, can and will become an addiction. Social Media, shopping, sugar, caffeine, etc. in excess can become an addiction. 

 

With also being a lifelong musician, singer/songwriter and locally recorded Christian artist, the Lord has expanded this vision into a Music Ministry. If you haven't already, please listen to the sample music tracks on the "My Songs" page. My hope is that you will listen to these songs and become moved by the music and lyrics.

Youth Fundraiser:

The idea to present here is the ability for the Youth Group of your church to host a worship event where they sell tickets for however much they desire as a fundraiser. The youth will keep 100% of the money earned in ticket sales. They can even decide to sell refreshments to increase funds being raised. The purpose is for the youth to get their friends outside of the church, their friends parents, their parents friends and co-workers, etc. to attend and visit your church. Your church can also operate an information desk where visitors can learn about your church and programs.

 

My ask is that a love offering be collected to support the ministry along with the opportunity to sell CD’s, books and other merchandise. I will also tithe 10% of the love offering back to the church to help towards utilities expenses for the event. 

   

I hope you will see this vision as an opportunity to spread the power and love of our Lord and Savior along with educating your congregation, visitors and youth as to why they may be struggling and/or stuck in unhealthy cycles.
